Environmental Education
Bremer County has been offering environmental education (EE) programs since 1988. The intent is to provide EE and outdoor recreation opportunities to its youth and adult citizens. The EE program interprets the natural resources of the county, as well as promoting the conservation and wise use of those areas. The Bremer County naturalists develop programs for school groups, youth groups, nursing homes and the general public on topics such as fishing, camping, animals, canoeing, birdwatching, wildlife identification, geocaching and nature hikes.
