Sample Ballots

POLLING PLACE HOURS for VOTING at the 2018 GENERAL ELECTION:
7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, November 6, 2018

ABSENTEE VOTING for the 2018 GENERAL ELECTION
In person: 
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday in the Auditor’s Office, Bremer County Courthouse, 415 East Bremer Ave, Waverly until 5:00 PM Monday, November 5th
Absentee voting is also available in person the following two Saturdays:
Saturday, October 27th 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday, November 3rd 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

By mail:  Absentee Ballot Request forms must be received in the Auditor’s Office by 5:00 PM, Saturday, October 27th  in order for an absentee ballot to be mailed.

VOTER REGISTRATION for the 2018 GENERAL ELECTION
Voter registration: 
The deadline to pre-register to vote for the General election is 5 PM Saturday, Octotober 27th. This applies to registration in person (including registration at driver’s license stations or agencies) or by mail.  Mailed registration forms postmarked on or before Monday, October 22nd, are considered on time.

After October 27th, a person may register to vote by showing proof of identity and proof of residency at the Auditor’s Office and vote an absentee ballot OR at the polling place on Election Day.

**Each voter will be asked to provide identification at the polling place before receiving and casting a ballot. Voters who do not have the necessary ID will be asked to sign an oath verifying their identity**
