Bremer County Veterans Affairs Satisfaction Survey

We want to know how we're doing! Our Bremer County Veterans Affairs Satisfaction Survey is an opportunity to let your voice be heard, with complete anonymity! If we've filled your needs in a professional and compassionate matter, please, let us know. If we're lacking in services that you or others specifically need, use this opportunity to share your thoughts. We develop our programs around you, the veteran and their family members in mind. When we see a need change, we change our program. Please, let us know what to improve or simply let us know that you approve of what we're doing. Your answers will be shared with the Bremer County Commission on Veterans Affairs and the Bremer County Board of Supervisors. Simply click HERE to be directed to a ten question, anonymous survey that allows you to make comments and rate us on our performance.

The Bremer County Veterans Affairs Store For Unmet Need

Bremer County Veterans Affairs is pleased to announce that they have opened their first store to fund programs not already being funded or are underfunded in our community. All purchases made through the store are tax deductible and 100% administration cost-free. Any funds earned will be used to help at-risk veterans get back on their feet through emergency energy, food, clothing, housing, and transportation as well as mailing care packages to our active duty military, updating our county's War Dead Plaques, funding historical initiatives for our veterans, and much more!

Update:  The Bremer County Veterans Affairs Store For Unmet Need

We have now opened our second store. It is solely embroidered apparel and can be found to the left or on our store page.

"Veteran" Designation on Your Iowa Driver's License

As of July 1st, 2013, any veteran can have a "veteran" designation put on their driver's license or nonoperator identification card for $10.00. If you're simply renewing your license at the normal renewing time, having "veteran" on your license is still free. The $10.00 fee is only for those veterans who want a duplicate license made with "veteran" added to it.
