The Bremer County Conservation Board is seeking candidates to fill 3 seasonal Park Maintenance positions. The selected individuals will assist in a variety of tasks associated with the management of parks, wildlife areas, and trails managed by the Bremer County Conservation Board. This position will require some weekend, night, and holiday hours.

Bridge Crew Laborer
The Bremer County Highway Department is seeking applicants to fill two Bridge Crew Laborer positions. Applicants should have some knowledge of road maintenance and operating construction equipment. The Bremer County Auditor’s Office is accepting applications for a part-time Clerk to perform a wide variety of general office duties including, but not limited to: filing, data entry, scanning, organizing, and customer service in the areas of elections/voter registration, human resources, payroll, and claims. The position may require some weekend and evening hours during elections. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule.
Qualifications: The Part-Time Clerk must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have good communications skills, computer experience, and be detail-oriented. Some heavy lifting is required.

BREMER COUNTY SANITARY LANDFILL
Part Time – On Call Assistant to Landfill Manager
Bremer County is accepting applications for the position of Landfill Assistant. This is a part time – on call position, with hours seasonally varying according to demand, from four to twenty or more per week. Will work independently, or as part of a crew, operating but not limited to a hook truck, dump truck, wheel loader, farm tractor with three point mower and perform routine maintenance on the equipment, fences, buildings and grounds. Also will include some scale house duties.
Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent; class B Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes, at least two years experience involving the operation of heavy equipment, ability to perform under adverse weather conditions and maintain an effective working relationship with fellow employees and the public.

The Bremer County Community Based Services Department is seeking applicants for the positions of Residential Specialist I & II. The Residential Specialist I & II provides support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, brain injuries, and mental illnesses within the community. Duties include, but are not limited to: providing transportation, supports to cook, clean, complete laundry, provide activity, medication delivery, monitor safety and health practices, money management, completion of necessary forms and reports, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Program Supervisor.
