ABSENTEE VOTING:
In person absentee voting is available in the Auditor's Office in the Bremer County Courthouse, Waverly, IA, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through June 6, 2022. Also until 5:00 p.m. June 3, 2022 and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022.

**Voted Absentee ballots must be received in the Auditor's Office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, June 7, 2022 to be considered on time to be counted.** 



VOTER REGISTRATION:

Voter Registration Form

The deadline to pre-register to vote for the Primary Election was 5:00 PM Monday, May 23rd. This applies to registration in person (including at driver’s license stations or agencies) or by mail. Mailed registration forms postmarked on or before Monday, May 23rd are considered on time.

 After May 23, 2022, a person may register to vote for the June 7, 2022 Primary Election by showing proof of identity and proof of residency and must cast their ballot at that time.  This maybe done at either the polling place on Election Day OR in the Auditor’s Office prior to Election Day.

 **Pre-registered voters are required to provide an approved form of identification at the polling place before receiving and casting a regular ballot.

**Pre-registered voters changing precincts must provide an approved form of identification and provide proof of residence.

**A voter who is unable to provide an approved form of identification (or prove residence if required)

1) May have their identity/residence attested to by another registered voter in the precinct. The attester must provide an approved form of identification.

2) Prove identity and residence using Election Day Registration documents, or

3) Cast a provisional ballot and provide proof of identity/residence at the County Auditor’s office by NOON on Monday, June 13, 2022.
